1. Family & Friends Bushcraft Experience

A one day course for family and friends covering such things as shelter building, fuel and fire, camp cooking, bushcraft on a budget and cordage.

2. Family & Friends Bushcraft Camp

A 2 day course with a night camping out for family and friends
Subjects covered include shelter building, fuel and fire, camp cooking, tools and their safety, cordage, safe water and bread making.

3. Educational Groups

Five hours to be split between up to five groups
Content depends on group sizes but could include shelter building, fire, cordage, cooking
This will help fulfil 'Learning Outside the Classroom' requirements.

4. Corporate, Team Building & Away Days

We can put a course together to fulfil whatever your requirements are and at a location of your choice, subject to its suitability for Bushcraft! Course content will be designed to satisfy the outcomes required, the needs of the group and the budgert available.

5. Bushcraft Parties

A Bushcraft party is ideal for youngsters (8-16) and lasts half a day (2 ½ hours)
Topics covered might include shelter building, fire lighting, water boiling and Marshmallow toasting!

This is a 1 day course aimed at individuals or couples requiring intensive training in any of the Bushcraft skill areas.
With an instructor to yourself, the day is geared to the skills you wish to develop or refine

Who is it for:
This is for any combination of family and a few close friends. You will be on a maximum of 1:6 ratio
Where:
Ipstones on the Staffordshire Moorlands
Content:
Shelter building with tarps - fuel collection & preparation - fire lighting by fire steel & fire maintaining – camp fire cooking – lunch – fire by friction (bow drill) – bushcraft tips on a budget – natural cordage

Cost:
325 per group (max 6)

2 days, 1 over-night

Who is it for:
This is for any combination of family and a few close friends. You will be on a maximum of 1 tutor for 6 of you
Where:
Ipstones on the Staffordshire Moorlands
Content:
Day 1
Shelter building with tarps or woodland debris - fuel collection & preparation - fire lighting by fire steel & fire maintaining – camp fire cooking – lunch – tools, their uses & safety, making camp implements – prep & eat big evening meal – natural cordage
Day 2
Breakfast – other forms of fire lighting including bow drill and flint – natural fire lighters – lunch – water collection & purification – bread making – natural infused hot drinks - camp high tea!

650 per group (max 6)

Educational Groups   [contents]

Duration:
1 day, maximum of 5 contact hours with a single group or several groups
How you use your time is up to you; 1 group for 5 hours or 5 groups for 1 hour each, or any other combination subject to a minimum session time of 1 hour
When?
Bookings by arrangement throughout the year
Who is it for:
Any educational group. You will be on a maximum of 1 instructor for 12 people, maximum group size of 24 at any one time
Where:
Ipstones on the Staffordshire Moorlands or at any school or local authority site by arrangement
Content:
Content is dependent on session times and outcomes required but could include:
Shelter building – fire by friction – natural fire lighters – natural cordage – camp fire cooking – Kelly Kettles - bushcraft on a budget (please view the Experience page for details)
Cost:
350 per instructor per day, i.e. one instructor if your maximum group size is 12, two instructors if you have a larger group
